Description:

The Geneva County Jail is a 95 bed facility located at 200 north commerce street Geneva Alabama. The Jail is Commanded by James Kelly and operated by 14 trained officers 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The Care, Custody and Control of the inmates within the facility is the number one priority of Commander Kelly and Staff. Jail staff work 12 hour shifts to ensure maximum coverage of the facility. The staff are responsible for the booking and release of Inmates as well the day to day operations of the facility. Inmates depending on housing and classification status are permitted visitation every other Sunday except on fifth Sundays. These dates are subject to change without warning due to any disciplinary violations. See below for rules regarding visitation. The Geneva County Jail houses municipal, county and state inmates of both pretrial and convicted status. During their incarceration should the need arise inmates can receive on and off-site medical, dental and mental health services
